I downloaded this one so many months ago that i can’t really remember from which blog i originally took it. Anyway, i re-discovered it today and it totally blew me away. I would definitely say it’s probably one of the best post-rock records of the last years. There is everything you need: good vocals, awesome instrumentations, great songs (which are not too short nor excessively redundant). Simply put: pure perfection.

I Am A Curse hail from Le Mans, France, and sounds a bit like a (way) better version of Pianos Becomes The Teeth - at least a version that is definitely more appealing to me: slightly crusty, slightly post-rockish, screamo in the way only french bands can do it (Sed Non Satiata for the length and the complexity of the songs?). In one word: epic. Definitely one of the most promising band around.
